We met in 2021 working in a small retail tea shop where we got to know each other.  We connected over our love of creativity and our passion to share it with others and discovered that we both had the creative thinking, passion for artistic expression and organisation that would be needed to create a business. The idea for Fablushes Printables came later on a rainy summer day over a cup of tea. What if we created beautiful, crafty things for everyone to enjoy at home like, posters, greetings cards and paper crafting projects? 

 

We spent months together pouring over this idea to create beautiful things to bring to people who wanted to be creative but didn’t have the time or knowledge to make it themselves. 

Over time our idea grew and the lack of a creative outlet in our jobs made us want to pursue this more and more. We explored a few ways we could sell our products and decided selling digital downloads online for everyone to print out at home was the best way to go. Printables offered the combination of speed and ease that we knew would be perfect for anyone. We started working on business plans, marketing strategies and couldn’t contain our excitement and joy about the possibilities. 

Come December 2022 we knew we had to do it. We quit our jobs and started working on Fablushes full time.

 

It hasn’t been easy but it continues to be the best decision we ever made. 

Yes, we’ve had to pick up part time jobs to fund our creative journey but nothing makes us happier than designing and bringing to life products that we love. We want to share this with you and we want you to share your creative journeys with us.
